Lab-grown diamond prices have fallen sharply, but stores still mark them up heavily. We show you every line, so you know exactly what you're paying for.

The markup figure comes from industry analysts' 2025–2026 retail data on lab-grown diamond jewelry. Gold costs are at 14k on the 6 October 2026 gold price. Your quote is itemized the same way. Prices shown are before import taxes: US quotes add duty upfront (currently around 40% for jewelry from China), so nothing is due at the door.

The people who make it. Shuibei is a working district, not a showroom. Your piece passes through several pairs of skilled hands: a CAD designer, a wax carver, a caster, a setter, an engraver and a polisher. You'll see their work in your progress photos at every stage.

Why Shuibei, and why it’s worth the wait
A local jeweler is lovely for a fitting or a quick repair. For a made-to-order gift, ordering from the district where the jewelry is made gets you more piece for your money, and the wait is shorter than you’d think.

If it doesn't match the approved render, we remake it free. Ring resizing is free for a year.
Questions people ask before gifting
Can you meet my date?
Most pieces take three to five weeks. Tell us the date when you first write, and we'll plan backwards from it, or tell you honestly if it's too tight.
Can you ship it directly to them?
Yes. We ship worldwide by insured courier, gift-boxed with your message, and we never include prices or invoices in the parcel.
It's a surprise ring. How do I get the size?
Borrow a ring they already wear and trace it, or send us a photo next to a coin. We'll work it out with you, and resizing is free for a year.
Are lab-grown diamonds real diamonds?
Yes. They are chemically and physically the same as mined diamonds and are graded by IGI the same way. They cost far less because of how they're formed.
What's the difference between Everyday and Fine?
Everyday pieces are thick 18k gold vermeil over solid sterling silver: real gold, real silver, and much more affordable. Fine pieces are solid 14k or 18k gold all the way through and will last for generations. Every listing says which one it is.
Why not just use a local jeweler?
You can, and for fittings and quick repairs you should. For a made-to-order gift, Shuibei gives you district prices on gold and lab-grown diamonds, a specialist for every technique, and a total wait of 3–5 weeks that includes design and shipping.
How do I pay?
Everyday pieces: pay once, when you approve your design. Fine and bridal pieces: a small design deposit, 50% when you approve the render, and the balance after you've seen the finished piece on video. Payments go through Shopify or PayPal checkout.
Do I pay import duty?
Prices shown are before import taxes. For the US, duty on jewelry from China is currently around 40% of the value; we add it to your quote and pay it upfront, so nothing is due at the door. Elsewhere, we give you a written estimate of local taxes before you commit.
