Gifts made at the home of fine jewelry.

Homeli designs custom fine jewelry with you, then has it handmade by master jewelers in Shuibei, the jewelry district of Shenzhen. Every piece is made for a celebration, and every piece goes home with someone you love.

Why we’re called Homeli

Say it like “homely”, but it ends in lǐ. The name reads three ways, and each one is part of what we do.

Home home

The home of fine jewelry

Shuibei is where a huge share of the world’s gold and diamond jewelry is designed, traded and made. We go to the source. And what we make is meant to stay in a family’s home for generations.

礼 lǐ · gift, ritual

A gift, and the ritual of giving it

礼 is the Chinese word for a gift and for the care of marking a moment properly. Birthdays, new babies, anniversaries, Lunar New Year: every piece we make is made for a celebration.

里 lǐ · neighbourhood

Made in a real neighbourhood

里 means a lane or neighbourhood. Shuibei grew from a village into rows of workshops, and your piece is made by named jewelers there, not in a faceless factory.

Home + 礼 = Homeli

What Shuibei is, and why it matters to you

Shuibei, in Shenzhen’s Luohu District, is China’s largest jewelry cluster. Around 7,000 jewelry businesses work there, and it handles more than 70 percent of China’s gold trading volume.

For most people abroad, it is out of reach. The workshops don’t speak English, prices change daily with gold, and it is hard to know who to trust. That is the gap Homeli fills. We speak to you in English, brief the jewelers in Chinese, check every piece in person, and ship it to your door.
